I. Job position and workplace
1. Position: Director of External Affairs
2. Workplace: 712 CMT8 Street, Tan Son Nhat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. (Former address: 712 CMT8 Street, Ward 5, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City)
II. Job objective
To represent the company’s image in all external relations activities, especially with government agencies, international organizations, and strategic partners from China. Responsible for hosting guests, maintaining high-level relationships, and ensuring sustainable cooperation.
III. Key responsibilities
1. Welcome and represent the company in meetings with strategic partners, VIP guests, government officials, investors, and international partners (especially Chinese partners); attend receptions, conferences, and events with the Board of Directors.
2. Establish, maintain, and develop long-term relationships with strategic partners domestically and internationally; proactively update information, conduct regular care, and handle sensitive situations involving partners.
3. Advise the Board of Directors on external strategic directions aligned with company objectives; assist in building effective external relations plans.
4. Prepare content, documents, and perform interpretation during meetings, signing ceremonies, or working sessions with Chinese and international partners.
5. Accompany the CEO on business trips and meetings with foreign partners, ensuring a professional and friendly corporate image.
6. Coordinate and participate in external events, appreciation conferences, and communications activities involving strategic partners, especially events related to Chinese partners; connect with international media and press organizations when needed.
7. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director.
IV. Job requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in: Diplomacy, Chinese Studies, International Relations, International Business, Marketing, or Communications.
2. Fluent in Chinese (listening – speaking – reading – writing); proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
3. Good appearance, professional demeanor, and self-confidence.
4. Strong leadership ability, capable of building a system from scratch and implementing tasks with clear KPIs.
5. Minimum of 5 years of experience in external relations, partnership management, or similar roles.
6. Excellent communication skills, flexible in handling situations, and courteous manner.
7. Able to travel for work both domestically and internationally.
V. Compensation and benefits
