FIRE PROTECTION DESIGN ENGINEER – MEP

I. Job Title and Workplace

1. Position: Fire Protection Design Engineer – MEP

2. Workplace: 712 CMT8 Street, Tan Son Nhat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. (Previous address: 712 CMT8 Street, Ward 5, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City)

II. Job Objective

Design, supervise, and implement the installation of systems, mainly focusing on Fire Protection (FP), with basic knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety, and construction schedule.

III. Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct site surveys and collect data for designing FP and MEP systems.

2. Design and prepare technical drawings for FP and MEP systems.

3. Coordinate with architecture, structural, and other technical departments to ensure system integration.

4. Quantify materials, prepare technical documents, and estimate equipment costs.

5. Supervise on-site construction to ensure compliance with design, technical standards, and occupational safety.

6. Perform internal acceptance, prepare as-built documents, and support acceptance processes with authorities.

7. Resolve technical issues arising during construction.

8. Update and apply new standards and regulations for FP and MEP systems in design and implementation.

9. Assist with legal documentation related to FP: construction permits, design appraisal, system acceptance.

10. Perform other technical tasks assigned by management.

IV. Job Requirements

1. Qualifications & Experience:

• • University degree in Fire Protection Engineering, MEP Engineering, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related fields.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in designing/constructing FP systems.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and Vietnamese FP standards, including appraisal and acceptance procedures.

2. Skills:

• • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, quantity take-off software, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, estimate costs, supervise construction, and work in teams under pressure.
  • Possessing a professional license for FP system design or supervision is a plus.

3. Attitude:

• • Proactive and highly responsible.

V. Benefits

1. Salary: VND 15–22 million/month + quarterly bonus/hot performance bonus (competitive with experience and skills).
